Greg Fornelli

Metals Supplier/Metal Specialist

Fornelli is President of Stock Car Steel & Aluminum/SRI. He is supplying metal and other materials to ensure that the team has everything they need to fabricate the custom parts of the car.

After attending the University of Kansas, where he received a Bachelor of Arts, he earned his Master's Degree in Business Administration from Baker University. Fornelli, recognizing the need for a niche business catering to the high demographic influx of race teams in the Charlotte area, founded SCSA in 1996. In 2002, Fornelli acquired SRI (Supplies for Racing & Industry), and that same year he was awarded the Charlotte Chamber's Entrepreneur of the Year Award. In 2003, Fornelli was awarded the North Carolina Small Business Administration's Small Business Person of the Year award.

A cancer survivor, Fornelli is heavily involved in cancer research and care. He also spends time contributing to the well-being of the community, supporting numerous charities, and sitting on various boards and committees, including the North Carolina Motorsports Association Board and the North Carolina Motorsports Advisory Board.
